KEEN London provides regular weekly one-to-one supported sports, games and activities for children with special needs (our 'athletes') at no cost to their families and caregivers. Taking part in sports and recreational activities is vital for our athlete's physical development and co-ordination. It also helps develop social skills and encourages teamwork. The weekly sessions, run by experienced session leaders, take place during term time in East and South London on Saturdays and in North London on Sundays, and are very lively and great fun. It takes a large number of volunteer coaches to maintain this level of support. To become a volunteer, you don't need any previous experience or sporting ability — just the enthusiasm to get involved.
