Dartmouth Metals Ltd. is a purchaser and processor of all kinds of scrap metal (ferrous and non-ferrous), and all metals (steel, iron, copper, brass, etc.) are sorted and adapted to comply with Steel Mill foundry specifications. The company serves as a global resource for all industries. We collect, sort, weigh, mechanically treat, and package all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals originating from used auto parts salvage yards, demolition sites, industrial accounts and various dealers and peddlers. The company also provides partial and/or total structural and interior dismantling services across a broad range of applications for industrial, institutional, governmental and commercial clients. Structures demolished/dismantled include refineries, mines, mills, manufacturing plants, bridges, towers and marine vessels. For example, recently, the company was involved in a dry-dock method of dismantling two obsolete Navy Destroyers for the Federal Government (HMCS Terra Nova and HMCS Gatineau). This project was the first environmentally sound undertaking of its kind in the Atlantic Provinces.
