South Washington County Schools ACCESS (Adult/College/Career/English Language/Skills/Services) Program and Hastings Public Schools ABE, merged the two Adult Basic Education entities into one consortium: Great Rivers Adult Education Consortium. The consortium serves parts of Washington and Dakota counties with Adult Basic Education classes. The program offers academic and English language instruction necessary to earn a high school diploma or equivalency certificate. In addition, through partnerships with Dakota County Technical College, Century College, the Washington County Workforce Centers and the Dakota County Sheriff's office, we are working together to ensure all people in our service area have access to free and public educational programs that focus on education and career readiness. Like all ABE programs across the state, we use all means necessary to maximize the use of partners and resources within our region.
