Yépez & Vaca was founded in 2016 as a law firm that was born of two practicing lawyers with more than 15 years of professional practice whose performance is developed in the civil and criminal procedural practice of Law. Gisela Vaca Jaramillo, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Quito with a specialization in victimology, began her practice in Criminal Law for over 15 years, with the school of Dr. Ricardo Vaca Andrade, a jurist and criminal lawyer recognized nationally and internationally. Diego Yépez Garcés, is a practitioner in the civil procedure and criminal procedure, founder of the Oral Litigation Ecuador project, being one of the most relevant experiences after being part of the coordinating committee of the then project of the General Organic Code of Processes. Francisco Estupiñán Barrantes, Attorney from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Quito, specializing in financial crimes, fraud and organized crime. He worked in the General Prosecutor's Office of Ecuador, Constitutional Court and -for more than 10 years- in the US Embassy in Quito, with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice and FBI. In our firm, several specialized lawyers work, both in preventive sponsorship and adversarial oral litigation.
