Al-Hosn Investment Company S.A.O.C (HIC), established in 2007 is a partnership between Qatar Holding LLC and the Ministry of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman. The Company was incorporated as a closed stock company and is based in the Sultanate of Oman. Each of the Company’s two shareholders holds 50% of the authorized share capital. HIC investment strategy focuses on investments in the Sultanate of Oman and in other GCC countries. HIC investments target vital economic sectors which include: healthcare, education, aquaculture, industrial and manufacturing, telecom / media / technology. Additionally, HIC may consider other growth sectors, on a case by case basis. HIC currently focuses on Private Equity and Venture Capital Investments. We provide equity and we are pioneering mezzanine finance in Oman. We add value to our investee companies by building on our shareholder’s strength, internal expertise and network of external professional consultants.
