My Addiction Stories
My Addiction Stories (MAS) is a multi-media movement for a not for profit organization created to inspire people struggling with addiction and mental illness to educate the ones that don’t understand it. Told through a camera lens of individual narratives in a candid intimate documentary film. We strive to provide insight into dealing with typical struggles of everyday living. Are you ready to save a life and share one of your many stories? You can be an addict. A sister of an addict. A parent. A child of an addict. An abused victim by an addict. Or, you could share your stories on how you don't understand addiction. You can't seem to forgive your child for robbing your belongings even after 6 years of being a changed person, working a program in recovery. Do you blame your addict loved one for your own problems? Here at My Addiction Stories, you can feel free to share any story you want as long as it is not hurtful or degrading to anyone struggling. This is a page of support and education and visual story-telling. Let's keep it creative and classy. Who wants to share their story next? Take 10 minutes out of your day one day and possibly have the opportunity of saving someone's life due to your inspiring words that they were able to finally relate to, thanks to you taking the time to provide your educated perspective/experience with that one person.
