The California Media Workers Guild, TNG-CWA Local 39521, has kicked off a new unit for freelance journalists to help us navigate changes in our field. The Guild is working with community groups and other partners to strengthen our safety net and equip writers, photographers, web content providers and graphic artists with the supports we need to work independently without sacrificing security.
