Our country's five-decade-long 'War on Drugs' only serves to destroy lives, devastate communities, and animate and exacerbate the social injustices and racial inequities currently playing out on the national stage. The Equity Organization is working to right these wrongs by advocating for a common-sense, public health-focused approach to drug policy and criminal justice. And as we work to reimagine America's criminal justice system, we're simultaneously fighting to ensure the people and communities most harmed by our unjust and ineffective approach get equitable access to the social, legal and economic opportunities that accompany any reforms.
