Kristy Kropat Design GmbH provides interior design services, pattern design and modern home textile products. Kristy's combined experience in engineering, interior design and art gives her a unique perspective as a designer. Her passion for design is the personal connection and usability on all levels. Our interior design studio offers custom design solutions tailored to each client's style and functionality needs. Our home textile products all start with a pattern design that tells a little story. We believe each pattern should have a meaning behind it, as William Morris' also believed: “Any decoration is futile... when it does not remind you of something beyond itself… No pattern should be without some sort of meaning.” (c.1879) All our patterns are designed by Kristy Kropat, gathering inspiration from Berlin U-Bahn stations, architecture, design, nature, science, history and personal experiences. Our patterns are printed using a high quality process onto 100% cotton fabrics. These fabrics are transformed into home textile products all handmade in Berlin. We offer dining and kitchen linens, bedding, cushions, custom draperies and wallpaper. We also offer bespoke textile products, custom designs, color ways and scales.
