Atkins ry is the student association for students of Business Information Technology at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences. The purpose of the association is to support the common interests of its members and represent them in different forums. The most visible activities are organizing parties, taking part in national student events and other social events. In addition to organizing events, the members of board are involved in different committees, advisory boards and project teams where they supervise member interests and try their best to influence to the teaching of Business Information Technology at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences. Yet another important function for Atkins ry is to be a link between its members and the BBA student union (Tradenomiopiskelijaliitto), where Atkins ry is strongly represented as one of the largest member associations.
