Priory Group Middle East is part of the UK’s Priory Group of Companies, established in London in 1872 at Priory Hospital Roehampton. Priory Group continues to maintain its prestigious reputation, now as a successful international service provider, following the opening of its first overseas Wellbeing Centre in 2017 in the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. Priory Group’s first Wellbeing Centre opened in Dubai’s respected Healthcare City (DHCC). Priory Wellbeing Centres in the Middle East Dubai Healthcare City is a health and wellness destination, which has strong transport links, making it easily accessible by car or Metro. It is also only 4km away from Dubai International Airport. Priory Wellbeing Centre Dubai is based in the Al Razi Building in Healthcare City. The clinic is made up of seven consulting rooms and two group therapy rooms and is ideally located amongst the many advanced healthcare services within this urban landmark. In 2021, Priory Group opened its second Wellbeing Centre in the UAE, in a purpose-built building in Abu Dhabi, which will provide a patient-focused setting, placing the clinical needs of the patient first. This facility will also provide high quality support for a wide range of mental health conditions, supporting adults as well as providing children’s services. Priory Education in the Middle East In 2019, The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), partnered with Priory Group to open the first dedicated autism school in Abu Dhabi for Emirati students. The school provides specialist education for young people with autism. This was followed by the opening of the Al Karamah Training Institute on the same campus, which offers specialist training and work experience for young people.
