JRDV Urban International is a full-service architecture firm founded in 2003 by a team of architects and designers who had worked together for many years on projects around the world. Their purpose was to establish an entrepreneurial architectural practice focused on collaborating intensely with visionary clients who want to “push the envelope” on the design of their buildings in significant and often unusual public contexts. JRDV is an integrated practice that combines architectural design, urban planning, and development strategy. All of our work is based on creating a strong sense of place and context, whether it is a single building, a neighborhood, or an urban district. Our design process brings urban designers and architectural designers together. This single team creates architectural solutions that solve complex programmatic issues and create powerful urban places. We integrate business strategy into all of our project design services. This process seamlessly links business requirements and business strategy to the design process. It allows us to more easily develop creative solutions that are grounded in a clear and coherent analysis of new business drivers, changing market conditions, and new product opportunities.
