Protostar Education is an online education startup with an international footprint founded by a group of young post-85s and post-90s in 2018. The company was already established with four offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seattle, and now the students have covered Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and USA. The founding team has rich academic and management experience, coming from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Peking University (PKU), Tsinghua University, Harvard University (HBS) and other well-known universities, and has executives or C-Suite management experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn companies, with flat team management, focusing on rapid growth and encouraging experimentation. Protostar also provides abundant learning and on-the-job training opportunities. Protostar has joined various acceleration programs across Asia to fuel the growth and technology development. Protostar is graduated from Incu-APP project from Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP); member of EdStart project jointly supported by Amazon AWS and Shanghai Municipal Government; member of A2T and A2A program organized by IAPS in Taiwan, and graduated from Crowd Brain Acceleration Program by Mizuho Bank in Japan.
