The Integrated Systems Laboratory (ISL), with a staff of over 45 full-time, highly-skilled researchers and developers, is involved in research and product development in the areas of information technologies and telecommunications, including GIS, location-based services, multimodal journey planning, mobile application for transport, event management, augmented reality and immersive VR/AR games, maritime and airport security, indoor localization & navigation and mobile navigation apps. ISL offers intelligent information extraction and processing capabilities, C2I Systems, multi-sensor data fusion, antenna and telecommunication networks design. Combining informatics with humanities, ISL has developed crowd behavior modeling & simulation systems, 3D modeling and reconstruction capabilities, interactive immersive 3D navigation in virtual archaeological tour electronic guides, games and video productions.
