In 1986, a young Tony Magnusson and his bro Mike Ternasky built H-Street Skateboards out of the pure desire to create something raw and innovative in an industry run by non-skater owned companies. Over the next few years these 2 tenacious underdogs forever changed skateboarding and proved to future generations that “skater owned and operated” would be the rule, not the exception. Over the years, this team forged some of the most influential skateboarders in history, including Danny Way, Matt Hensley, Ron Allen, Eric Koston, Mike Carrol, Jason Rogers, Alfonso Rawls and many other top pro’s. Today, Tony Mag has resurrected the brand with a vision to create skateboard products with the same level of thoughtfulness and innovation. H-Street's line of handmade accessories and apparel line is unique in its ability to preserve the authenticity of skateboarding as more than just another 'hobby,' and something far from simply a 'sport’.
