Move Minneapolis – Transportation Management Organization (TMO) is a non-profit organization and was founded in 1991. The TMO serves downtown employers, commuters and residents, and partners with the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MnDOT, Metro Transit, OurStreetsMN and other transportation organiztions. The organization promotes sustainable transportation – mass transit, carpooling, car-sharing, biking and walking – through an outreach and education program that targets downtown workers, residents, and visitors. Move Minneapolis is located at Minneapolis Regional Chamber at 81 South 9th Street, suite 200 (Skyway level). Move Minneapolis is made possible by a federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant in partnership with the United States Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Council, the City of Minneapolis and the Downtown community.
