A membership based, not for profit organisation, Bundaberg Tourism’s key objective is to build destination awareness through a targeted program of marketing and industry development, with the support of the local tourism industry, businesses and key stakeholders of Bundaberg Regional Council and Tourism & Events Queensland. Bundaberg Tourism has a strong working partnership with Tourism & Events Queensland, providing us with opportunities to leverage TEQ’s destination marketing investment and access their experience development initiatives as we strive to build and maintain a healthy and sustainable regional tourism economy. Originally established in 1971 as a regional tourism and economic development body, today Bundaberg Tourism’s key priority areas are focused on driving visitation to the destination, including: Destination Marketing Product & Experience Development Industry & Advocacy Visitor Information Services The Bundaberg North Burnett Region welcomed more than 1.66 million visitors in 2018/19, and with your support, this number will continue to grow. Support from membership helps Bundaberg Tourism to promote our region and support the business community, which helps drive business through your doors to build a stronger economy for the Bundaberg and North Burnett regions.
