Solar Energy Consultants (SEC), is a Northern California residential Solar company headquartered in San Jose, California. SEC focuses exclusively on residential solar power solutions for homeowners wanting to become power independent from expensive utility companies, seeking a greener source of energy and an option to reduce their overall carbon footprint for future generations. SEC was founded by William Wood, CEO and founder in 2016 after interviewing almost a thousand solar customers about their overall experience with solar. SEC wanted to understand how homeowners felt after their initial solar purchase to how satisfied they felt one to four years later, to understand homeowners' concerns and pain points, as well to identify areas for improvement and opportunity. These key performance factors have defined what is now called the SEC certification requirements. The SEC Difference. The company's approach is to provide options and more importantly, solutions.
