University of Aveiro Incubator, created in 1996, is a space for hosting, stimulating and supporting the incubation of innovative business ideas and startups, mainly of technological nature and with a high growth potential. Recently implemented in the Science and Innovation Park – Creative Science Park of the region of Aveiro, in a space with a total of 1890 m2 and always in close collaboration with the University of Aveiro (UA), develops network activities for the entire community of the region which allow the conversion of knowledge into economic value, providing a business incubation program whose results have been recognized nationally and internationally, highlighting the second place in the overall ranking of the worldwide contest Best Science Based Incubator.
