Utilitarian Sculpture is not only the name of our company, but the defining theory that we work under. The conception, design and fabrication of a piece of furniture is just as valid an artistic expression as any other form of art. The only difference between the creation of a piece of furniture and a piece of art is the intent. Inherently, furniture is designed for a purpose and to be used and enjoyed, where as art can be created simply for art’s sake.
