Asociația Interlan is an Organisation founded in Bucharest, Romania by several ISP Companies, having now 30 members. Asociatia Interlan operates an Internet Exchange (IXP), called "Interlan Internet Exchange". Joining an Internet Exchange has as main goals the acquisition of more peers and on the other hand provides direct access to other partners' services. Interlan Internet Exchange provides the possibility to have a high traffic volume which cannot be obtained through any other single connection.
