Today, Esem Spor's, which belongs to CANKURTARAN HOLDING, yearly sales are more than hundred-thousand units. For this reason, we are one of the leading companies in its category. We are the first company, who produced sport shoes and slippers made of polyurethane soles in Turkey. In the past, together with our own brand "Esem Sport" , we were the licensees of ADIDAS, LE COQ SPORTIF, FILA, ARENA and SLAZENGER in Turkey and distributor of TBS, BATA and CLARKS in Turkey. We were very strong with the retail business as well, introducing the first multi-branded retail concept in Turkey. Starting with 1995, 16% of the company shares were offered to the public and we became the first and the only sport business company in the Istanbul Stock Exchange Market. Today, Esem Spor Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is based in Istanbul, Bomonti. We are still a leader in our sector, with the unique experience working with International brands, with our dynamic and experienced team, and with the global brands such as SLAZENGER (licensee since 1994) and KangaROOS, which we added to our portfolio at the beginning of 2010.
