Griffiths School of Management
www.emanuel.roEmanuel University was founded in 1990, one year after the fall of Communism in Romania. The University’s vision is to teach business and management skills underpinned by a strong foundation of Christian faith, and its aim is to develop a culture of excellence with integrity in the Romanian market place. The business school within Emanuel University was named the Griffiths School of Management in honor of a man who helped to spearhead the launching of the school, Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach and it received the full government accreditation. Key to the University’s success to date has been the commitment of teaching staff to high standards of performance, unaffected by the corruption that has afflicted so many educational establishments in Eastern Europe. The commitment to integrity together with the emphasis on practical application of theory has enabled graduates rapidly to be of real value for employers. The strength of Griffiths School of Management is the weaving of a dynamic and eager business community of students, faculty, business and community partners and alumni from Romania and the rest of the world. This community truly represents the phenomenon of global diversity and interacts together in order to promote the vibrant exchange of ideas and solutions to new business challenges.
