Sandhills Fliers is located at Moore County Airport, KSOP, in Pinehurst/Southern Pines, North Carolina. We are one hour South of Raleigh, and two and a half hours East of Charlotte, by vehicle. Sandhills Fliers (SF) Flight School was formed in 2014 by several retired military pilots, an engineer, and a doctor. Their passion for sharing the gift of aviation with Fort Bragg's wounded warriors from USSOCOM's Care Coalition and the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) was the catalyst for what Sandhills Fliers is today.
