www.artlawfoundation.comEstablished in Geneva for more than 20 years, the Art Law Foundation aims to promote and coordinate the work and research in the field of art law. In particular, it supports the research and teaching activities of the Art-Law Centre, University of Geneva. Moreover, the Art Law Foundation and Art-Law Centre regularly collaborate, such as on the organisation of conferences and workshops. Two to three times per year, the Foundation publishes a newsletter that focuses on recent developments in art law. It has also developed a documentation centre to which its members have full access. Currently, the Art Law Foundation has over 500 active members and supporters from the legal and academic community, museums, auction houses, galleries, banks, logistics, and insurances. As a non-profit organisation, the Art Law Foundation is financed by grants from public and private institutions, as well as donations by individuals. The Foundation is also financed thanks to its activities (including the book series “Studies in Art Law”, symposia co-hosted by the Foundation and the Centre, and research mandates), and to the annual membership fees.
