The UTHSC Center for Multicultural and Global Health is a distinguished academic, clinical training, and research center focused on increasing health equity for vulnerable populations across Tennessee and the world. Our mission is to leverage institutional relationships to expand student, resident and faculty access to multicultural health delivery, address global health challenges, and nurture the next generation of global health leaders. At CMGH we prioritize three (3) Strategic Goals: 1. Cultivate a collaborative community of multicultural and global health researchers, scholars and leaders 2. Further improve UTHSC’s ability to provide appropriate health care to its growing multicultural communities, and 3. Develop impactful and long-term national and international global health partnerships.
