Grit is a solution for the massive labor waste that exists on construction projects due to ineffective project planning and management. Even with existing software, the planning and scheduling processes for construction have largely remained unchanged since the early 1900’s. Grit is a merger of existing scheduling themes such as the Last Planner Process (engaging workface personnel in plan input), 4D animations, the Critical Path Method, and newfound themes such as algorithmic sequencing and artificial intelligence.
