Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family owned and privately held restaurant company founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy. Devoted to serving the local communities in which its franchised restaurants operate, and known for its original chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A serves freshly prepared food in more than 2,300 restaurants in 47 states and Washington, D.C. The Chick-fil-A Southern Park location has been proudly serving families and visitors of the Mahoning Valley since 1980. Since July 2018, the store has been operating under new ownership. William J. James is a lifelong resident of the valley and is proud to serve the community in which he grew up in. Chick-fil-A at Southern Park was the first franchised restaurant in the area to be serving the Original Chicken Sandwich.
