From lakes to deserts, the Lectric story began in Lakeville, Minnesota with two lifelong friends, Levi and Robby. After high school, Levi moved to Arizona to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business entrepreneurship and leadership from Grand Canyon University, while Robby stayed in the midwest to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Reuniting in Phoenix, Levi and Robby geared their efforts toward closing a market gap that would change the roads forever. After surveying hundreds of customers, the business partners designed a high-quality electric bike for an affordable price – The Lectric XP. From the day it was released, the bike was an instant hit with customers and industry experts, due to the unique combination of affordability, portability, and comfort. Swiftly riding to the top of the market, the Lectric XP earned the Electric Bike Review Top Choice Award for “Best Folding Electric Fat Tire Bike of 2020.” Before Lectric had funding for a marketing department, customer referrals were the core driver of sales, which steadily continued after the company began to grow. If it wasn’t for customer advocacy, Lectric wouldn’t be flourishing as one of the fastest growing electric bike companies in the United States.
