Established in 1995, Spunchem housed the first spunbond plant in South Africa, capable of 20 million square metres. Over the last 25 years, we have invested heavily in specialised equipment that allows us to expand our offering. We now cater for all sectors, with spunbond, SMS, coating, cast film, breathable film, laminating, printing and slitting capabilities. Today, we operate 6 spunbond plants, including our recently-installed state-of-the-art SMXS machine, boasting a total capacity ability in excess of a billion square metres per annum. All our products are manufactured in South Africa, to the highest technical and quality standards, meeting both local and international standards.
