Cecil's Horse Sanctuary is a small horse and pony sanctuary based in Hertfordshire, UK. We aim to relieve the suffering of horses and ponies, who may be old, neglected, abandoned or otherwise, in need of care and attention. We aim to provide and maintain rescue homes and other facilities for the care and treatment of such equines. Founded in the early 2000's yard owner, Julie, rescued several horses who were either deaf, blind, deaf-blind or unwanted. In 2016, Cecil's Horse Sanctuary became a registered charity, caring for over 40 horses, ponies and mules!
