North East Dance is an Award Winning Community Interest Company which provides creativity to local communities, and much needed programmes in dance and fitness. We are dedicated to bringing dance to everyone. It is our mission to promote healthy lifestyle choices through dance and movement to encourage people to become fitter, healthier, motivated and inspired. We aim for all of our classes to bring a feeling of well-being and happiness to all participants. Founded by... Founded by directors Deloris Lolita Martin and Chris Pearman in November 2007. The aim of setting up North East Dance was to make dance and fitness accessible to all. In 2010 Dolly won the WIN award for North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for best social enterprise. Since then she has been nominated and shortlisted for many awards across the North East. Our dance teachers come from a range of disciplines and backgrounds and together are forming a formidable service. We have created an excellent balance of professionalism, dance expertise and most importantly fun. We are a unique award winning company based in Sunderland but operate across the North East we even have our own dance studio based in Sunderland. North East Dance works within the private, public and third sector delivering programs to suit a range of needs for commercial, corporate and voluntary beneficaries.
