CRISMO is a Site Management Organisation (SMO) based in Germiston at Bertha Gxowa Hospital. CRISMO is the only SMO committed to capacity building in the public sector. The Company established the first Clinical Research Centre at Bertha Gxowa Hospital in support by the Ekurhuleni Health District and the Gauteng Department of Health, the company has access to over 92 health facilities in the district to recruit its patient participants. The Aim of CRISMO is to accelerate scientific research through the provision of research infrastructure that will support the conduct of clinical research, and provide access to new patient population while creating a platform for new researchers and healthcare professionals to be involved in clinical trials.
