University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, is a premier institution of higher learning in the field of engineering sciences that was established as a university in 1980. It has around twenty two departments that offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs covering the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines. The University has campuses in six districts of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The main campus of the university is located in the historic city of Peshawar, whereas, it's five satellite campuses are located in Abbottabad, Bannu, Kohat, Nowshera (Jalozai), and Lower Dir.
