SEED (Standard of Excellence in Education and Development) Schools was established in June 2013 to invest in and provide curriculum, training and management services to Low Cost Private Schools (“LCPS”) in India. SEED is supported by private investors to build a holistic model with a strong focus to improve the standard of education in a sustainable manner. Currently, SEED provides its services to 3 schools in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, serving over 1,500 students. Despite the many challenges within the Indian education system, there are significant bright spots that SEED will build upon. Our focus is to achieve and measure greater education inclusion, higher quality learning and better attainment rates in order to meet social and economic challenges of low cost private schools in India. Through innovative teaching methodology developed by integrating technology driven solutions to the core curriculum, SEED will address the existing learning gaps in the LCPS segment. SEED’s team is dedicated to building a model to aid and assist the schools in their expansion plans. With the focus on scalable model, SEED is building a platform to attract dynamic, passionate and talented young professionals to the LCPS sector.
