The New Glarus Fire Department was founded in 1902. This all volunteer fire department consists of a 36 firefighter roster, up to 5 Junior Firefighters, and several Apprentice Firefighters. Our apparatus consists of two engines, a pumper/squad, a pumper/tender, a brush truck, and a command vehicle. We average right around 100+ calls per year and have a very dedicated group of firefighters committed to serving the New Glarus community whenever we are called.
