bmd Architects LLP, formally the Bader Miller Davis Partnership, was founded in 1958 in offices in High Holborn by Lawrence Bader and Edward Miller, both now retired. The Practice is still based in Central London in a converted Victorian Grain Warehouse in the City of London. Over the almost 60 years bmd Architects have been in practice, they have successfully applied their skills and resources to achieve optimum solutions for their clients. They regard their clients requirements as the focus of their design development ensuring that the building not only works as a form but works as an environment. The basics of a building is that it is easy to build, economic to construct, efficient to heat and maintain and yet is aesthetically pleasing to both the building user and public at large.
