Prestige Design & Construction is a fully integrated privately held construction company which was founded in Ottawa in 1981. The company's original focus was the design and installation of interlocking/paving stone for commercial and residential applications. Over time, the company successfully expanded the size and scope of its operations to include real estate development, construction management, general contracting and custom residential and commercial construction. Today, Prestige operates two principle business segments, Commercial Services and Residential Services. Prestige's Commercial Services division has undertaken restoration and renovation work on some of Canada's most notable historic, heritage and tourist landmarks including Confederation Park, Wellington Street and the Governor General's Residence. The Commercial Services group also provides site development, construction and construction management services to commercial clients. The Residential Services division has delivered hardscape (hard landscaping) design and construction services for many of Ottawa's finest residences, heritage homes and diplomatic properties and has constructed custom homes in some of Ottawa's most exclusive areas.
