Not all terraces are on the same level. Neither are all real estate brokers. Over our years in the real estate business, we've discovered that there's a widespread lack of knowledge about how to categorize and value outdoor space. A terrace is not the same as a balcony, but they're often lumped in the same category and priced equally—we don't think this makes sense. We've also realized that real estate brokers and agents usually only work with property owners during the selling and buying process, neglecting the more important time period: the life and enjoyment of the property. With these two ideas in mind, we set out to create a destination for buyers, sellers and owners full of verified information about terraces—where to find them, how to determine what they're worth, and how to improve them. We sorted through every listing in the city claiming outdoor space (over 10,000) and created a database 5,120+ individually-verified ACTUAL terraces. We also built relationships with vendors around the city specializing in all aspects of building, improving and maintaining terraces, helping us connect terrace owners to the best resources. Where other brokers transact in opinions, we live and breathe data—our database gives us the informed advantage when it comes to measuring trends, evaluating space, finding buyers/sellers, and brainstorming ideas for adding value to terraced properties.
