SMU International Connections (ICON) is a standing committee under SMU Students' Association (SMUSA). Every SMU student is a member of ICON. We strive to cultivate a familial culture in SMU by integrating all members of the SMU community. ICON provides an international experience right on campus through various unique events and activities to promote cultural experience and integration. We have 13 unique cultural clubs under ICON that serve as platforms for every student to be exposed to cultures of different countries. Misson 1. To facilitate integration among international students and the SMU student community as a whole. 2. To ensure the welfare of international students by catering to their social and academic needs. 3. To empower international students by presenting them with new opportunities to contribute to the SMU student community.
