Amsterdam Mamas is an official non-profit organization (stichting). Our mission is to provide reliable information and support to international parents in Amsterdam and the surrounding regions. We accomplish this by creating an inclusive, non-judgmental and supportive community and connecting parents through our widely read website and vibrant and engaged online community. We also offer weekly newsletters, monthly meet-ups, annual events and a discount card program, The Village Card. Our efforts have proven successful and our membership includes at least 54 different nationalities, which connect and interact regularly both online and offline. Amsterdam Mamas began as a Facebook group of six friends in April 2010 and we have since grown to over 4,500 Facebook members and over 20,000+ unique readers visiting our website each month. Stichting Amsterdam Mamas is run by a team of highly dedicated, professional volunteers, who take time away from their busy lives to contribute to the wider parenting community in Amsterdam.
