The New Technologists Program (TNT) is a 7-week, paid innovation academy where college freshmen and sophomores interested in tech industry careers learn the tools and programming languages to build products. Launched in the 2015, TNT was created to address the tech industry’s struggle to recruit students from underrepresented backgrounds through traditional recruiting pipelines and practices. Created to be a hands-on experience, students work directly with program managers and engineers at Microsoft to design and develop product solutions for the modern customer.
