Wendy Nguyen Coaching
www.wendynguyencoaching.comAs a business owner, you don’t know what you don’t know. I certainly didn’t when I started. Even though I’ve served successfully for nearly two decades as auditor, controller/CFO, and CPA and am the owner, founder, and CEO of multiple businesses, I was once in your shoes. I know what it’s like to be so enthralled with a business idea that you charge full steam ahead… only to plateau and wonder what went wrong. But in business, it’s not enough to solely have passion, for your profits will suffer, and you’ll ultimately wander aimlessly without purpose. Purpose is wonderful, but without a tie-back to your strengths and a sound means to generate revenue, you’ll be frustrated and stalled. And even profit alone won’t work when your heart and talents aren’t engaged in your business. I’ve learned that for your business to flourish, you need to view it through a completely different lens that unites all three elements—passion, profit, and purpose. For me, this meant first assessing my strengths and acknowledging my passion. I’ve always been good at solving problems, and math comes easily to me, so I’ve built my career in finance and operations, capturing and analyzing data to help my clients increase the profitability, efficiency, and longevity of their businesses. I’ve made a profit from this, but since I also have a strong desire to give back, serve others, and leave a legacy of positive impact, I felt like I was ignoring my purpose. Everything changed when I figured out a way to align my talents with my purpose and profit and realized it was possible to do well by doing good. On that day, my 3P Formula was born. My life’s motto is “Doing small things with great love.” It’s not enough for me to simply amass clients; I care about, and I’m deeply invested in their success.
