Sahtas Terracotta Corporation was established as a family business in 1979 to produce machine made earthenware products in Izmir, Turkey. The business is still family owned and operated today. In 2002 Sahtas Terracotta converted its production to 100% hand made earthenware due to an increase in customer demand for this type of product. This change was made possible due to the company’s existing Hoffman kilns and the dedicated and experienced workforce. Recent changes in the UK marketplace have led us to the decision of establishing our own stocking and distribution yard, where we will endeavour to maintain sufficient stock levels of all our products, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service we can offer them.
