InciteChange! Consulting, L.L.C.
www.iincitechange.orgInciteChange! Consulting, partners with colleagues, universities and nonprofit organizations engaging students, staff and faculty in reflection and skill development to deepen social justice conversations, practice and impact. Through a range of pedagogical approaches, InciteChange! builds capacity within individuals and organizations to foster sustainable social change. Our work is grounded in the following core beliefs that guide our practice and encourage an atmosphere of individual and communal support: • We value the ideals of social justice and equity, and believe everyone should be treated with respect. • We believe that personal growth and transformation demands we engage in a lifelong learning process. Irrespective of our experience with social justice practice, each of us must continually strive to understand how our personal narrative is shaped by socialization experiences. We must come to recognize the internalized oppression we experience and the ways we perpetuate that system. • We believe social justice concepts are intertwined with our everyday lived experience. As such, we believe that success in all disciplines, careers and relationships requires an awareness of social identity and their cultural implications. • We believe that social transformation occurs through the energy incited in dialogue. We believe a community of learners is essential in this work, and value the perspectives and life experience of each individual.
