Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society
www.enfhs.caEntre Nous Femmes Housing Society (ENF) is a charitable not-for-profit housing organization committed to enhancing people’s lives by creating communities that provide affordable, safe and secure housing. We manage eleven affordable housing complexes and provide over 400 affordable rental homes for women, families, seniors and people with disabilities in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Surrey. Entre Nous Femmes was founded in 1984 by three women who wanted to make life better for themselves and other single mothers and their children. “Entre Nous Femmes” in translation is “Amongst us Women,” which speaks not to the individual but about “us together” in the community – a philosophy we still follow today. Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society respectfully acknowledges that we do our work on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples. Specifically, the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, Semiahmoo, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Kwantlen, and Qayqayt First Nations, and the ceded territory of the Tsawwassen First Nation. We are grateful for the use of their land.
