Govardhan Das P.A. ( Calcutta ) was founded in the year 1966 in Calcutta, India with a view to manufacture various types of Industrial Valves and Cocks. The company gradually expanded and catered for the manufacture of diversified Marine and Industrial products of marine application. Govardhan Das P.A. has an ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) and IRS (Indian Register of Shipping) approved Foundry for both ferrous and non-ferrous casting to fulfill the needs of the company, as well as, a fully equipped modern testing laboratory with experienced faculty, a team of qualified Engineers, and Metallurgists working together to create Engineering solutions. The company's strict quality assurance system was awarded the certificate of ISO 9002-1994 in the year 2000 and since then, we have regularly updated the quality assurance system. The company is currently ISO 9001-2008 approved and there are plans underway to upgrade the system as per the requirements of the new ISO standard: ISO 9001-2015.
