Geosciences Barcelona, CSIC (GEO3BCN) is a research institute for Earth Sciences of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). GEO3BCN scientific staff conduct multidisciplinary research on the Earth System to provide effective answers of how the Earth works, how we can tackle the geological risks and how we can take advantage of the natural resources following a sustainable way. Georisks and global change, georesources and global geodynamics are our current three main research challenges.
