MISSION: The method from FEINLAB wants to become the new standard for assessing energy renovation projects. VISION: The energy transition in residential construction is so immense that the availability and deployment of the required cash flows must be managed very precisely. The communication with residents is essential. The research project GEN (Gebieden Energie Neutraal: Energy Neutral Districts) provided the insight that it is very necessary to be able to predict the benefit in euros of energy renovation per household. FEINLAB offers a method that predicts the actual use of energy, after an energy renovation, and translates this into Euros. This prediction should provide a more reliable basis for future loans and the possibilities to pay interest and repayment from the savings on the residents' energy bill.
