TPS Industrial Services, LLC

www.tpsind.com

The roots of TPS Industrial Services begin when Telma Santana, founder and President, moved to Indiana. Telma is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil where she worked as the material and logistics manager for Johnson Controls (JCI). After getting married in 2001, Telma and her husband moved to El Paso, TX where both continued their professional careers with JCI. The move to Indiana took place in 2012, when her husband pursued a professional opportunity with Cummins, Inc. After living in Columbus for a couple of years, where daily discussions about diesel engines and trucks were common practice, she decided to personally get involved in the trucking and logistics business. She opened TPS Industrial Services, LLC in 2013 as a truck load service provider. The business started with a single truck and driver. That one truck led to 2, then 3, then more than 10 trucks were being run by a group of great local drivers. TPS also procured a 150,000 square foot facility to provide warehousing and valued added services to its customers. TPS intends to remain a growing leader in the transportation management and logistics industry and a viable option for future business partners. TPS is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and a Certified Minority Business Enterprise certified by the Minority Supplier Development Council.
